The Shwetdhara Project was an incredible journey that brought us closer to the vibrant culture, warm hospitality, and hardworking spirit of rural Rajasthan. This project was a collaboration with End Poverty and IDFC Bank, where our mission was to highlight the transformative work being done under Shwetdhara.
Our team embarked on a multi-location photo and video shoot to capture the impact of Shwetdhara’s initiatives. The project aimed to showcase the role of Gram Sakhis, local women leaders educating farmers and animal owners about proper animal feed and medicines. From documenting these women in action to showcasing the practical use of Shwetdhara’s products, we aimed to tell a compelling and inspiring story.
In addition to the visuals, we created a short documentary film designed for presentation on various platforms. The entire process was deeply fulfilling, and our team enjoyed every moment, from interacting with locals to experiencing the authentic flavors of Rajasthan’s cuisine at each house we visited. The hospitality we encountered and the cultural richness of the region truly overwhelmed us.
Of course, every project comes with its challenges, and this one was no exception. Sudden rains and high humidity turned the terrain muddy and slippery, transforming our shoots into balancing acts—made even more interesting by the presence of our four-legged “models,” the cows and buffaloes. Despite these hurdles, the camaraderie of the team and the beauty of the surroundings kept us energized.
The project’s timeline was tight, but we delivered. Within six days, we handed over the processed footage and the completed documentary. When the client needed last-minute adjustments for an important event the next morning, we worked overnight to ensure their success. This “bonus” effort was met with gratitude and reinforced our commitment to going the extra mile.
This project was more than a professional endeavor—it was a journey of learning, connection, and joy. As we wrapped up, we realized once again that new experiences create new levels of happiness and greatness.
